Since 2010, Fresh Start has partnered with Open Baptist Church, Face the Nation, and the School of Discipleship in Botswana to strengthen a mission that has transformed young leaders across the nation. In the mid-2000s, Botswana faced one of the highest HIV/AIDS rates in the world. In response, churches and national leaders launched Face the Nation and School of Discipleship, bringing life-skills training, moral leadership, and faith-based teaching into schools. What began near the University of Botswana grew into a nationwide movement impacting thousands of students.

Fresh Start walks alongside this work at the heart level: helping students process the issues of their hearts, forgive past wounds, and step into leadership with freedom and purpose.
