FORGIVING – Matthew 18:21-22 NKJV

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

Fresh Start has a vision: to see men, women and young people forgiven, forgiving and free.

Peter came to Jesus in Matthew 18:21&22 and said,

‘Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.’”

To forgive someone takes two–you and Jesus. As you process the issues of your heart, you come to realize more and more that it’s not so much an issue between you and the other person who’s hurt you or offended you as it is between you and your relationship with Jesus. So, whether the person is living or dead, whether you know their whereabouts or not, whether they’ve apologized or not, forgive them unconditionally and make Jesus the reason you forgive. –Because He’s worthy!
