Fresh Start has a vision: to see men, women and young people forgiven, forgiving and free.

2 Corinthians 7:10 says, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.”

You can’t be forgiving and free unless you’re forgiven, and to be forgiven, you must have Godly sorrow. Godly sorrow is being sorry for your sin against a Holy God, versus worldly sorrow, which is being sorry that you got caught or that someone’s upset with you or you made a mess. If you don’t have Godly sorrow, you won’t repent or change; and if you don’t repent or change, you won’t submit to Jesus; and if you don’t submit to Jesus, you won’t be forgiven. Ask God to give you Godly sorrow.
