Amazing and Wonder-”FULL”!

We are back from an amazing experience with the Christ For The City Staff (CFCI) and the precious people of Costa Rica!

Over four days of ministry, we were able to present Fresh Start in 15 unique settings! Talk about wonder-”FULL”! From the time we arrived until the time we departed, it was a non-stop exciting adventure. Our team was a “Dream Team” for sure! We were warmly received by the CFCI staff. What a love-filled and life-filled team… They were so hospitable, loving and kind!

• The many unique opportunities that we had to present Fresh Start included:
•  A rehab center
•  A children’s ministry (including children and ministry leaders)
•  Churches (including church leaders and attendees)
•  A Soldiers of Jesus Ministry (biker church/ministry)
•  A women’s art and craft group/ministry
•  A prison/gang ministry
•  CFCI Staff
•  CFCI Missionaries
•  And many informal ministry opportunities with individuals and couples

The opportunities were many and varied… and I kept thinking that this was such a great opportunity to see the relevance of Fresh Start and it’s mission to “provide the opportunity for a Fresh Start for EVERY heart…”. In each and every setting we saw the faithfulness of the Lord and the transforming power of forgiveness!

This was the first opportunity that Fresh Start has had to partner with CFCI Costa Rica and so it was largely an exploratory mission. And so it was such a blessing and an encouragement to hear overand-over from those we ministered to and partnered with that they were desiring MORE.

In fact, since our return home we have heard that there is an opportunity opening up in Cuba and that she would love to be able to partner with Fresh Start in the near future to see the people of Cuba “FORGIVEN, FORGIVING and FREE!”

We invite you to pray into this incredible opportunity and we thank you so much for your care and prayer for this recently completed mission to Costa Rica. We truly felt carried and covered in prayer, care and love.
