Radio Spot

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

Ephesians 1:18 says: “I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light.”

Boom! The sound of light breaking through. In the natural realm, the boom of thunder is the sound of lightning. In the spiritual realm, boom is an issue of enlightenment or revelation to our hearts. For example, whenever I hear someone share a profound statement or share a fresh revelation from his or her own heart, you will often hear me say, “Boom!” This is so representative of what Fresh Start is all about: Not just the sharing of good information, but the enlightenment of the Word of God, and the wisdom of God with Holy Spirit revelation.

Radio Spot

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

My one-word theme for 2016 is: Light.

Proverbs 4:18 says: “The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.”

A new day, with light shining brighter and brighter. This reminds me that there’s always more with the Lord. This is so representative of what Fresh Start is all about: The enlightenment of the Word of God and the wisdom of God with Holy Spirit revelation. Practically speaking, this revelation leads a person to becoming free to love and be loved, free to give and receive, free to know and be known, free to live like a son or daughter of the King! Not a hired hand, orphan, or second class citizen, but a child of the King!

A Light for my Path…

Pastor Steve explains how our vision is to help enlighten all nations with God’s Word. We want the world to be full of people who have been forgiven, who know how to be forgiving, and who have been freed.

Radio Spot

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

My one-word theme for 2016 is: Light.

Psalm 119:105 says: Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

“…a light for my path.” This is so representative of what Fresh Start is all about. –The enlightenment of the Word of God and the wisdom of God with Holy Spirit revelation.

To what end? You may ask. Our vision is to see men, women and young people experience what it really means to be forgiven, forgiving, and free. We are convinced that if you’re not forgiven and forgiving, you’re not free — you’re not free to be who you were created to be.

Forgiven, Forgiving, and Free…

Do you know what it is to be forgiven, forgiving, and free? Pastor Steve explains how God’s Word bring light and freedom into our lives… so listen or read the radio spot to learn more!

Radio Spot

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

My one-word theme for 2016 is: Light.

Psalm 119:130 says: “The unfolding of your words gives light.”

In Fresh Start terms, this would include a progressive process on the pathway to experiencing what it really means to be forgiven, forgiving, and free. Because when a person is forgiven, forgiving and free, he knows who he is (identity) why he’s here (purpose) and where he’s going (destiny). Identity, purpose destiny–now that is freedom!

Matthew 5:14 & 16 says: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden… In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Courageous Obedience…

In this radio spot, Pastor Steve discusses how courage and light are important words to keep in mind while following God’s will…

Radio Spot

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

My one-word theme for 2016 is: Light. Most importantly, how am I applying this to my life? And, if I’m going to take new ground this year, what do I need the most?

For me, personally, I need courageous obedience to the enlightened will of God in response to the many opportunities that are before me.

Joshua 1:6-9 states and repeats again and again, “…be strong and courageous…”
Ephesians 1:18 says, “I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light.”

So, for me, “courage and light” says it all. As I lead Mindy and our family and as I lead Fresh Start for All Nations, both with courageous obedience, my desire is to experience the mind of the Lord, enlightened by His Spirit.

The importance of being sorry…

Pastor Steve explains the importance of godly sorrow, and how it differs from worldly sorrow. So listen or read the radio spot to learn more…

Radio Spot

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

Fresh Start has a vision: to see men, women and young people forgiven, forgiving and free.

2 Corinthians 7:10 says, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.”

You can’t be forgiving and free unless you’re forgiven, and to be forgiven, you must have Godly sorrow. Godly sorrow is being sorry for your sin against a Holy God, versus worldly sorrow, which is being sorry that you got caught or that someone’s upset with you or you made a mess. If you don’t have Godly sorrow, you won’t repent or change; and if you don’t repent or change, you won’t submit to Jesus; and if you don’t submit to Jesus, you won’t be forgiven. Ask God to give you Godly sorrow.

Enthrone Jesus…

Pastor Steve discusses the importance of making Jesus the king of your heart. And before you enthrone Jesus, it’s important to repent and change your heart… Read or listen to the radio spot to learn more…

Radio Spot

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

Fresh Start has a vision: to see men, women and young people all over the world forgiven, forgiving and free. –Who know who they are, why they’re here, and where they’re going.

Luke 13:3 says, “…but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

You can’t be forgiving and free unless you’re forgiven, and to be forgiven, you must repent or change; and in order to repent or change, you must first get off the throne of your life and then enthrone King Jesus and give Him the keys to your heart. So, dethrone self and enthrone Jesus today and be forgiven!

God’s Forgiveness

Pastor Steve explains God’s forgiveness must come before we are able to be forgiving and free.

Radio Spot

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

Fresh Start has a vision: to see men, women and young people forgiven, forgiving and free.

Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

The truth is, you can’t forgive unless you’ve experienced God’s forgiveness. You can’t forgive unless you have the Forgiver living inside of you. Forgiving someone isn’t natural or easy; it requires humility and you really don’t understand what it is or what it takes unless you are forgiven. Submit to Jesus and His mission to rescue you from your sins today and be forgiven. Then, you can forgive others the way He has forgiven you.

The reason you forgive…

In this radio spot, Pastor Steve tackles the issue of forgiveness. Listen or read below to learn about the reason you should forgive others – even if they’ve failed to apologize.

Radio Spot

Hi, this is Steve Peterson with Fresh Start for All Nations.

Fresh Start has a vision: to see men, women and young people forgiven, forgiving and free.

Peter came to Jesus in Matthew 18:21&22 and said, “‘Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.’”

To forgive someone takes two–you and Jesus. As you process the issues of your heart, you come to realize more and more that it’s not so much an issue between you and the other person who’s hurt you or offended you as it is between you and your relationship with Jesus. So, whether the person is living or dead, whether you know their whereabouts or not, whether they’ve apologized or not, forgive them unconditionally and make Jesus the reason you forgive. –Because He’s worthy!
