Trip Report
WHAT AN ANSWER TO PRAYER!
What an amazing time we had in Gaborone, Botswana. We were with the Face the Nation college students during the day and with pastors, lay counselors & others interested in Biblical discipleship/Fresh Start training during the evening sessions! On behalf of the whole team,Ā I want to thank you all so much for praying for us while we were on this trip!
The spiritual hunger, gracious receptivity, humility and respect of our audiences always blows me away! We LOVE the people we have the privilege of ministering to, and honestly, we always feel that we receive more from many of them than we give away! What a privilege and joy it is to be part of the body of Christ!
Our days were very filled. The unity & harmony on our team was precious–I believe we have all come to love & respect one another more than ever! We all stayed healthy, and the Lord protected our loved ones back home!
We were very grateful that our flights were smooth & non-eventful. All luggage arrived at each destination. Most of all, we were grateful for the strength, energy & grace that the LORD provided, plus the favor He gave us with each of the groups we taught, and the students we counseled! We have made many life-long friends in Botswana, and were also able to connect with these wonderful people! We felt that we were able to share what the Lord gave us by way of “assignment”, so left feeling very grateful, filled with joy, and blessed that the Lord would allow us to be sent!
You were with us on this trip, by the way, through your prayers for all the details! Can’t thank you enough for praying!!! Bless you for standing with us in this way! We are praying that the seeds that were planted will bear much fruit for eternity, and that the ones we shared with will embrace “forgiving” as a lifestyle! We had the privilege of seeing many students set free, as a result of their obedience to forgive.
God is so good, so faithful, & so for us!! What an awesome God we serve!
